# A Closer look at Bonita 2022.1

In the following series of articles, you'll learn about **each new feature** of the **new Bonita release** , one by one. Today, let's check out the **updated Bonita Docker Image.&nbsp;&nbsp;**

## Bonita Docker Image

#### _ **In Bonita, we a have unified Bonita Cloud & Runtime Docker images** _

#### **What are the improvements?**

#### Bonita Docker Image runs light & safe

Now, we use Alpine Linux instead of Ubuntu which is much lighter and allows u to get improved security.

Engine’s LDAP synchronizer has also been removed (change back-ported till Bonita Docker image 7.12.10) and replaced with a Docker compliant one. That means the LDAP Synchronizer is now **out of the Bonita docker image** and is available as an independent docker image ready to use (available on [http://quay.io](http://quay.io) )

#### **Limited number of packages (dependencies)**

Number of dependenices has been limitet for both community and subscription edition.

- **Community** : rl \ gnupg2 \ mysql-client-core-5.7 \ openjdk-11-jre-headless \ postgresql-client \ unzip \ zip \ gosu

- **Subscription edition** : bash \ util-linux \ su-exec \ jattach \ curl \ unzip \ … and all community

### **DB is not created when running the Docker image**

You can either take the Bonita docker image that has the schema included or you can use your DB schema configured for Bonita as specified in the documentation :[Database configuration | Bonita Documentation](https://documentation.bonitasoft.com/bonita/2021.2/runtime/database-configuration)&nbsp;

Bonita Docker image is only available for download on [http://quay.io](http://quay.io)

If you don't know what version you want to download it&nbsp;

- Go on [http://quay.io](http://quay.io) . Repository “bonita-subscription”.

- Check all available versions in the Tags tab
