Dear community,

We’re still accepting nominations for the mug-of-the-month for community participation in November…send your nomination to [service@bonitasoft.com](mailto:service@bonitasoft.com). (And since you’ve asked – yes, we’ll keep nominators’ names anonymous…)

Might make a cool holiday gift for someone!

## The Latest from R&D
[![](http://www.bonitasoft.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/French-Alps-300x168.png "French Alps")](https://community.ofelia.com/sites/community.bonitasoft.com/files/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/French-Alps.png)The snow season has started in the French Alps.

(Here’s a nice view of one of our BonitaSoft Services guys, taken by one of our BonitaSoft R&D guys!)

Nevertheless, our developers (when not schussing through deep powder) are still gaining ground on the next release of BOS.

You’ll be able to use transient variables, to define data which are not persisted in the database (for example, for use in creating temporary data in forms.)

## Contributions
[Getting things done](http://www.bonitasoft.org/exchange/extension_view.php?eid=159)! A process example that illustrates a customized look-n-feel and dymanic labels.

[Reception by the OFII](http://www.bonitasoft.org/exchange/extension_view.php?eid=160) (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration) – one set of processes you’ll encounter if you ever end up working in France as a non-French citizen!

_Do you have a connector or a process to share? Upload it to the [Bonita Community](http://www.bonitasoft.org/exchange/extension_add.php)._
