# Custom Pages in Community Edition

Hi,
In Bonita 6.5.2 Community Edition, is it possible to add custom menu items and pages to the portal ?

Yes, but you need to be a little bit more specific about your requirements.
What do you mean by “custom menu items” or “pages to the Portal”.

I mean add a custom link that will appear for users in the “Users” role, which can link to custom pages in the Bonita portal. I have requirements to create a process for some users to work with and also have some pages that aren’t associated with a process, but can be used to query data from an external database.

Without recoding Bonita (which you could do) I would just create a process with a Step and an Application form. And in the form add an iFrame Widget. In here you could have your custom pages which are external to the process but have the look and feel of one.
Nice and easy…
