# Database configuration with Oracle

Hello,

I am trying to connect my oracle sql developer with Bonita. I have been following the steps according to this documentation: [http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/database-configuration-2#oraclespec](http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/database-configuration-2#oraclespec)

\*\*(path: Home–\>Installation–\>Basic Bonita BPM platform installation–\>Database configuration)

I am using JBoss. While configuring the datasource and making changes in the \<JBOSS\_HOME\>/standalone/configuration/standalone.xml, I am not confused on as to what to put for the value of **property name=“bonita.h2.port” value="1234”** in the “system.properties”

Also for the step of “specific database configuration”, do I need to install oracle sql developer on linux server, in order to see the bonita schema in my developer?
