# Force task assignation when task in error

Hi,

I've created a process where the tasks are assigned based on a custom information entered at the user level.&nbsp;  
It is working well but for some reason I had a task in error and even if the "assign" button is available on the error task, I cannot assign it to anyone (even an admin)&nbsp;I don't understand why Bonita is not letting me assign it to someone.&nbsp;
