# How can I configure BonitaSoft to use PostgreSQL instead of H2

Hi @houssemeddine.weslat

To make it easier, I will be using a **PostgreSQL Docker image** that already contains all the necessary configuration for Bonita ([available on Github](https://github.com/Bonitasoft-Community/bonita-database-docker/tree/main)). I have previously created a Docker image with a Bonita application using Bonita 2023.2. I am using docker compose.
