# How can I delegate a task?

Hello,  
Is there a way to delegate a task?  
So far I could only find custom solutions but no standard option in Bonitasoft.

The use case would be the following: A user receives a task (could be any task) and wants to delegate it to his colleague. The delegation should be universally applicable to each task individually, a solution where you add a task to the process in which you can enter a name and all other tasks are assigned to this user is therefore not suited.

Hi @dreiss,

In your case, your process has many tasks:

- Task A
- Task B
- Task C
- Task D

In Task A, the name of the task is Choose employees to assign tasks. The user will select which employee will be responsible for Tasks B, C, and D. Is my understanding of your scenario correct?
